As your local certified bookkeeper, we are located in Doncaster East but are not limited to working locally, as we have clients in Darwin, Tasmania and New South Wales. Sheils Bookkeeping Service has been operating since 2008 although we did start in Queensland under a different name.

Our team looks after all types of bookkeeping including:

Bank reconciliations
Accounts receivables and payables
Payroll including STP2
Superannuation and Workcover
Lodging your BAS and IAS reports whenever they are required.

We can also cover general administration for you and virtual assistance.

Sheila De Burgh

Owner, Bookkeeper and BAS Agent

I’m Sheils, I have been a fully qualified Bookkeeper and BAS Agent since the regulations were first introduced. Throughout my career, I have always been involved with accounts and I am glad those years of background knowledge now allow me to help people run their business more efficiently.

Since being joined firstly by Lisa, who I had worked with previously and now Amanda who became part of the team more recently, our workplace is more enjoyable and we like to celebrate all the little wins.

I enjoy walking, spending time with family and friends and dabbling in property development. I have renovated one house, was an owner builder of my house in Qld before moving back to Melbourne in 2013 and undertaking to build a couple of townhouses here in Doncaster East.

Lisa Pape

Bookkeeper

Lisa has worked with us since May 2019.

She is a qualified bookkeeper with many years’ experience handling company accounts for small sole traders through to large multi-million-dollar companies, across many different industries. Lisa enjoys welcoming new clients and the challenge of getting new accounts into shape!

She enjoys watching and supporting her children playing their different sports, Melbourne’s great food and arts culture and likes to write children’s books in her spare time.

Emily Obouhoff

Bookkeeper

Emily brings over 10 years’ experience as a bookkeeper, and having ran her own small business, she can relate to all that hard work! She enjoys being able to get into the nitty gritty of balancing accounts.

She loves creating jewellery in her spare time, watching realty TV, as well as curling up on the couch with a good business related book.

Although located in Doncaster East, we are able to work remotely for anywhere in Australia. We currently have clients in four of the seven states.

We are professionally qualified and certified

Each year Xero insists their partners complete Xero Advisor and payroll certifications and constantly review your education status which helps us meet your bookkeeping needs.

Sheils has a Cert IV in

Accounting, Cert IV in Small Business Management. Earlier this year she became certified after completing the Accounting Technician certificate program.

Having these certificates displays our commitment to providing our clients with up to date information to assist them with their business.

We work with a range of accounting software

We believe Xero is the better accounting package but also work with QBO and MYOB. We can also help train you or your staff if required.
