About Me
Sheila De Burgh, Owner & Chief Bookkeeper
Based in Doncaster East, Melbourne I live with my two independent, adult children.
I have life skills that have helped me along the way, for example when my children were young, I built our home, as an owner builder. When this was finished, I worked for awhile as an “Office Genius” a job I loved but had to leave as they moved offices and the distance interfered with my ability to look after my children, as I was a single parent.
This bump in the road however led me to starting my own business as a bookkeeper.
Since then, I have dabbled in Property Development by building a couple of townhouses, one of which we are currently living and working in.
I am a happy, positive kind of person that likes to see everyone enjoying life and having fun and I always like to find a way to get things done and live by my mantra “don’t tell me it can’t be done.”
I am a fully qualified BAS Agent, registered with the Tax Practitioners Board and a Fellow with AAT (Assoc. Accounting Technicians).
To my absolute delight, I find I am a finalist in the Manningham Business Excellence Awards

We also like to give back to Australian based charities whenever we can, especially children who may need special care. I have made baby blankets for families who have very little and believe strongly in giving my time to help out when I can.
